Michael Mithika
Founder & CEO
Michael Mithika is the Founder and CEO of Mizizi Partners. Michael envisions a prosperous Africa where innovation creates value addressing critical societal needs and challenges while creating jobs, wealth and investing in the community.
Prior to Mizizi Partners Michael served as President & Chief Executive of UK-based VisionFund International, the financial inclusion subsidiary of World Vision in 28 markets serving 1.1 million clients. He previously founded and led a strategic and financial advisory firm for 20 years focused on emerging market growth strategies, financial markets deepening, and financial advisory services. Michael graduated magna cum laude with a BSC. Finance & Accounting from the United States University Africa, Nairobi Kenya.
Julia Methu
Advisory and Research Manager
Julia Methu leads a team of analysts to successfully fulfill consulting assignments. She is an experienced management professional with experience from organizations in Kenya and South Africa. She brings her expertise in strategy development and implementation, business model innovation, advocacy, project management, and training development.
Ms. Methu holds a First Class Honors Degree in Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing Option from the University of Nairobi and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from the same university. She is a Certified Executive Coach and a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya).
Kirori Kibui
Analyst Fellow
Kirori Kibui is an Analyst at Mizizi Partners, where he is responsible for conducting industry and market assessments on diverse segments, including; Agriculture, Aquaculture, and E-commerce.
With an inquisitive attitude and a creative approach, Kirori brings a unique blend of curiosity and creativity to every assignment project. He is passionate about leveraging technology for innovative solutions, all while promoting sustainable entrepreneurship as a driving force for positive change in Africa.
Kirori holds a Maritime management degree from Moi University, and is pursuing a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) professional course.
